Digital Careers Promotion
What is a "Digital Career"? We think that's anything from Systems Management to Software Engineering, Web Design to Network Engineering, Business Analysis to Games development - plus a whole lot more!
The Digital Careers Expo connected students with support services and employers to help them make study and career choices aligned with NZ’s future skills needs and become "work ready" for the New Zealand labour market.
The Digital Careers Expo 2009 offered: A chance to hear from
- Industry experts about the types of skills and attributes that the Digital industries need now and for the future.
- Employers and what they are looking for in an employee.
- Career Services on: ways to find work, the value of networking, tips and tricks for being a great employee.
- NZ Immigration on their work and residency options
